Prospira was inspired by the unmet need for effective, long-lasting treatments for moderate to severe allergies. Dr. David Conrad and Dr. Andrew Goldberg, practicing otolaryngologists, identified the limitations of current therapies, including poor adherence to daily nasal sprays and the risks associated with invasive surgical procedures. They envisioned a bioabsorbable implant that could provide sustained symptom relief with minimal intervention.
